Mr FedEx guy look and see. If there's a dress in your truck for me.

I got a call from David's Bridal yesterday, my dress is in!! YAY! My parents were planning on bringing my dress back with them this Christmas when they go up to Ontario to visit my sister, but they decided that they didn't want to be responsible for my dress. I understand that.

So I called DB to see how much it would cost to get it shipped. I was totally expecting them to say $100. Nope - only $25!! Woo hoo!! They guarentee that it will get here in one piece and it should be here in 7 days!!

Farmer Nerd

LN and I can honestly say that we "made" our salad! Well... mostly. We finally have a harvest! Last week we made a salad out of our own lettuce and tomatoes (and other stuff we bought at the store - but never mind that).
We also have pole beans that I harvested today and plan to make a yummy side dish out of, and garlic that should be ready any day (week) now! The carrots are... well... not doing so great, and the broccoli is a bust.

PICTURES!! YAY!

The garden!

 LN's bum. Tee hee!

Tomatoes ripening!

Our first harvest! 5 cherry tomatoes!

 Beans!

The head of lettuce we ate!

See I'm not the only one!

I found this blog: From Thee to We

She did the stats for her wedding!! I'm loving this! How many RSVP's came in each week, how many had chicken, out of town guests vs local, how many envelopes came back vs sent out!

I have to remember to do this.

Go ahead, make fun - I don't care.

Now all I need is a way to incorporate forms into my wedding and I'll be in heaven!

Thank you Sparkedlove11!!

Busy lying down

Sigh... my stupid back. I'm doing ok with my treatment and recovery, but I think it's going to be a longer road than previously hoped.

I know I said that stop motion cat photography was next - I lied. I'm sorry.

Anyway while I've been lying on the couch, I've been busy cross stitching a baby blanket for my soon-to-be sister-in-law. She's due in November so I have a lot of work to do. I'm doing a Winnie the Pooh blanket for her. It's going to be super cute! So far you can see Tigger starting to take shape.

T-I-Double Geh-ER (and the backside of Pooh)

I've also been busy working on my bead bouquet. I've discovered that if you put a hook into the part of a drill where the bit goes (LN informs me that it's called the "chuck") - it's SOOO much easier to put these beads on individual wires!

This is 100 beads! Maybe I'm crazy, but I thought 100 beads would look bigger than this!

Also, a friend of mine - Leah - has a kick ass blog! I'm all about her most recent post (well "most recent" when I started to write this post - which was... last week?) - not that I can relate at all... cough cough... and there's no jealousy either.... ahem...

Check it out! Zombies Wearing Helmets
