So I decided to make it. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhX7gz_LUAGsso5tNIhfrr3E8JsXwm_nC4nL83Go2bKIPL-C6wl6GS5Rcm4PAEDMNtuUXUBogwGI1a1relCWKR68IYyZravgSiRR_isJ_axXbkhZTvwXw4r2Bnzcg9qnrC86bC8yrYCNXIb/s1600/Trooper+snowflake.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" gda="true" height="240" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhX7gz_LUAGsso5tNIhfrr3E8JsXwm_nC4nL83Go2bKIPL-C6wl6GS5Rcm4PAEDMNtuUXUBogwGI1a1relCWKR68IYyZravgSiRR_isJ_axXbkhZTvwXw4r2Bnzcg9qnrC86bC8yrYCNXIb/s320/Trooper+snowflake.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Here's the site I found it on: <a href="http://mattersofgrey.com/diy-star-wars-snowflakes/" target="_blank">Matters of Grey</a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">Click on the PDF and print it out. Then use an x-acto knife (box cutter) to cut out the grey parts. It's that simple. And they have a whole bunch of different characters - I only made one this Christmas, Maybe next Christmas I'll have a Star Wars snow storm! </div>Noleeniebeanshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07370955174858912302noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7752330064753234619.post-26193399932725643102011-12-14T15:51:00.001-03:302011-12-14T15:52:56.997-03:30Reflecting, before the crazy beginsIt’s pretty close to the holidays and I’ve been so busy getting ready for Christmas, I haven’t spent much thought on the wedding. I know that once Christmas is over – I will have about 10 months before the wedding – and a lot of DIY’s to do. <br />
<br />
So I wanted to reflect a little before the madness begins.<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
Why am I marrying LN?<br />
- Well I love him (duh!) but it’s more than that. I’m happy with him – it’s not that he makes me happy – it’s that when I am with him I am able to be myself and know that he loves me just as I am (to steal from Bridget Jones’ Diary). And I am happy. <br />
<br />
- He’s interesting. I enjoy talking to him and spending time with him. We have fun together, and I look forward to seeing him and hearing what he has to say (most of the time). <br />
<br />
- He’s funny – seriously, he’s probably the funniest person I have ever met (sorry Dad). And the fact that we make each other laugh, all of the time, is so important to me. <br />
<br />
- We have the same values. After my last failed long term relationship, I sat down and wrote a list of what’s important to me as a “must have” in a man for the relationship to work – and what are deal breakers. And I decided that if the man doesn’t have these, then I’m not going to waste my and his time. So when I got to know LN, I realized that he has most (if not all) of these values. While we may not have all of the same interests – that’s ok, because what’s at the core of who we are, is similar and compatible. <br />
<br />
- We trust each other. I know that he will be honest with me (without hurting my feelings) and I know that I can be honest with him (without hurting his feelings). And we talk about stuff – not just what’s happening in the news or how our day went, but about our feelings, our past, our future, and what makes us tick. In fact we probably talk about that too much and forget to talk about the mundane things – like who’s taking the car today! Lol!<br />
<br />
There’s so much more – too much to list, but these are the core reasons why I want to marry this man. I’m sure that his reasons for wanting to marry me are similar. <br />
<br />
What do I want this wedding to be?<br />
There’s always the chance that this wedding will get out of hand; that the budget will skyrocket; that there will be too many people and I’ll feel overwhelmed; that we’ll lose ourselves in the commotion; etc; etc…<br />
<br />
This is obviously not what I want, but I know these things happen. <br />
<br />
I want this wedding to be a party. I want it to be a celebration of our love and commitment to each other. I don’t want it to be “the happiest day of my life” I want it to be a marker of our happiness, which started long before the wedding plans and will continue long afterward. It’s not the beginning of our happiness – it’s like an intermission – a “let’s all go the lobby and have ourselves a snack” moment in our happiness movie. <br />
<br />
I want it to be deeply personal. I want it to show who we are, what we like, and things that are important to us. I think that most weddings are this way, they just vary on degree. Ours is probably at about 102 degree angle.<br />
<br />
But my main want for this wedding is to be surrounded by people who love me, as I marry the man I love. And while I know it’s <i>our</i> day (as in not just <i>my</i> day), LN would be just as happy eloping (which is not happening), I want him to feel the same way. <br />
<br />
So when I’m frantically trying to get the handmade bouquets done, or trying to figure out what we’re going to do for a guest book. I need to take a step back and remember – as long as he is there, then the day is perfect. <br />
<br />
(Oh and I want to dance, dance, dance!)Noleeniebeanshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07370955174858912302noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7752330064753234619.post-48966616163203079392011-11-27T22:59:00.000-03:302011-11-27T22:59:35.900-03:30The "Harvest"So we hauled up our carrots... <br />
<br />
First I'm going to show you a photo of my father's veggies. <br />
<br />

The carrot is 16 inches long. And that is a potato next to it. <br />
<br />
Now here are our carrots.<br />

Yes that is a regular, non-giant pencil next to my carrots. How's that for a crop? LOL!<br />
But this is our first time, and we learned and next year we will do better. <br />

</tbody></table>Please excuse the crappy-ass grainy photos - my camera does not take good photos in "low light" (ie inside or on a cloudy day). <br />
<br />
Those flowers are made of crape paper. I showed them to my friend who is also my decorator and she commented that I have to make sure I don't get them wet or they will go all splotchy. DAMNIT! I didn't even think of that! So I'm going to take this apart and I'm going to make the flowers out of cloth. <br />
<br />
Two steps forward, one step back. <br />
<br />
I like the bouquet. I was planning on having it all beads, but it's just too much. So I think the flowers add some texture to it. I didn't want a lot of flowers, but I think I may add a few more once I put it all together again.<br />
<br />
I got the bead tutorial from <a href="http://ohdearphotography.com/2010/03/26/diy-bridal-pearl-crystal-bouquet-boutonnieres/" target="_blank">this blog,</a> and the flower tutorial from <a href="http://www.theidearoom.net/2011/01/tissue-rosette-kissing-balls.html" target="_blank">this one</a>! <br />
<br />
On another note - today is 11 months until the wedding!! Excitement! I have lots to do though. I'm going to have to make a list and time table of everything I have left! Noleeniebeanshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07370955174858912302noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7752330064753234619.post-68083148928415545372011-11-27T22:26:00.000-03:302011-11-27T22:26:47.502-03:30You suck as a Blogger. Just sayin.This is the Blackberry messenger message I got on Wednesday from my friend Sandi. And it's true.<br />
<br />
I've had two posts ready to go now for the past while that just need me to get the pictures off my camera and attach them to the posts. Still not done. <br />
<br />
<br />
And while we're on the topic how much I suck. I haven't been down to visit my new niece yet either. She is 12 days old today. I do have a mild excuse - I've been dealing with a cold and chest infection since she was born. But that doesn't make up for this weekend.<br />
<br />
Time just seems to be getting away from me. I have too much to do and too little time. I would really like it if the day could have one extra hour - or maybe just Saturday and Sunday have an extra hour each. Of course, I'd just manage to pack that hour full of things too.<br />
<br />
Anyway I'll take those pictures off right now and post them... now where is my camera?Noleeniebeanshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07370955174858912302noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7752330064753234619.post-33589518593065180072011-10-31T12:03:00.002-02:302011-10-31T12:06:22.438-02:30I suck.It's Halloween! <br />
<br />
And it's been over a month since my last post - bad Beanie. <br />
<br />
LN and I were sitting at home on Saturday night thinking "Man! We've got to get some new friends!" Not that there's anything wrong with our old friends - still love them lots! But many of them do not live in the same community as we do. This summer quite a few of our close friends moved away - it was a very sad time. No matter how many times I beg them to come back - they just don't listen.<br />
<br />
Our friends that are left in this city all have small children (or are about to have small children)- and we do not have small children - well not human ones anyway. So while their lives are kept busy with diapers and bottles and play dates, my life is filled with... well bottles too, wine bottles! lol! <br />
<br />
So I said to LN "That's it, next year we are either having a party or going to [my home town]" and he agreed that would be a good idea.<br />
<br />
I called one of my bridesmaids today (to wish her a HAPPY HAPPY BIRTHDAY! That's right, her b-day is Halloween!) and told her this. Her response: "You know that next Halloween is your wedding right?"<br />
<br />
DUH! It didn't register with either or us!<br />
<br />
But it looks like I'm right! We will be throwing a party, but everyone has to dress up like wedding guests. And I will dress up like a bride.Noleeniebeanshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07370955174858912302noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7752330064753234619.post-60386408376895803702011-09-27T10:24:00.000-02:302011-09-27T10:24:46.293-02:30Mr FedEx guy look and see. If there's a dress in your truck for me.I got a call from David's Bridal yesterday, my dress is in!! YAY! My parents were planning on bringing my dress back with them this Christmas when they go up to Ontario to visit my sister, but they decided that they didn't want to be responsible for my dress. I understand that. <br />
<br />
So I called DB to see how much it would cost to get it shipped. I was totally expecting them to say $100. Nope - only $25!! Woo hoo!! They guarentee that it will get here in one piece and it should be here in 7 days!! <br />
<br />
OHMYGODICAN'TWAIT!!Noleeniebeanshttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07370955174858912302noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7752330064753234619.post-73303560085140619112011-09-24T19:10:00.000-02:302011-09-24T19:10:20.582-02:30Farmer NerdLN and I can honestly say that we "made" our salad! Well... mostly. We finally have a harvest! Last week we made a salad out of our own lettuce and tomatoes (and other stuff we bought at the store - but never mind that). <br />
We also have pole beans that I harvested today and plan to make a yummy side dish out of, and garlic that should be ready any day (week) now! The carrots are... well... not doing so great, and the broccoli is a bust.<br />
<br />
PICTURES!! YAY! <br />

<br />
She did the stats for her wedding!! I'm loving this! How many RSVP's came in each week, how many had chicken, out of town guests vs local, how many envelopes came back vs sent out!<br />
<br />
I have to remember to do this.<br />
<br />
Go ahead, make fun - I don't care.<br />
<br />
Now all I need is a way to incorporate forms into my wedding and I'll be in heaven!<br />

I'm doing ok with my treatment and recovery, but I think it's going to be a longer road than previously hoped. <br />
<br />
I know I said that stop motion cat photography was next - I lied. I'm sorry. <br />
<br />
Anyway while I've been lying on the couch, I've been busy cross stitching a baby blanket for my soon-to-be sister-in-law. She's due in November so I have a lot of work to do. I'm doing a Winnie the Pooh blanket for her. It's going to be super cute! So far you can see Tigger starting to take shape. <br />
<br />

I've also been busy working on my bead bouquet. I've discovered that if you put a hook into the part of a drill where the bit goes (LN informs me that it's called the "chuck") - it's SOOO much easier to put these beads on individual wires! <br />
<br />

Also, a friend of mine - Leah - has a kick ass blog! I'm all about her most recent post (well "most recent" when I started to write this post - which was... last week?) - not that I can relate at all... cough cough... and there's no jealousy either.... ahem... <br />

But I have excuses!<br />
<br />
1. My lovely and wonderful friend was here visiting me from far away lands! Oh, it was so nice having her here for those few days. I miss her.<br />
<br />
2. I was in a car accident several weeks ago and while my back was getting better, I had a set-back this past weekend. So sitting at my computer isn't all that comfortable. <br />
<br />
See! Those are pretty good excuses!<br />
<br />
Anyway, I had figured out what I was going to write for my next post (i.e. this one), but I've decided to hold off until later.<br />
<br />
I have news!! YAY!<br />
<br />
First off - I just bought my wedding dress!! Holy shit on a stick - I did it!! I finally decided. I said "fuck the back fat, it's not that bad" and I went for it! So, at Christmas, when my folks come back from visiting my sister, I will have my dress in my hands! YAY!!<br />
<br />
Now I must stop looking. I<b> seriously</b> have to stop looking.<br />
<br />
The next bit of news - I had an interview for a management position last week and I have another one on Tuesday! Right now, it doesn't matter to me if I get it or not, the fact that I got the interview makes me so happy. Yes, of course I would like to get one of the positions. But if I don't, that's ok. I love my current job, I'm appreciated in it (my boss was not very happy when I told her I got the interview), and I'm going to have more opportunities in the future.<br />
<br />
So there's the good news. Now for the bad news...<br />
<br />
In my first post I mentioned how I breathe curling (you know, the sport). Well it seems that my curling dreams are on hold for the time being. Because of my previously mentioned accident (and set-back), I'm not going to be in good enough shape to curl in 6 weeks time. Sad. I'm very upset about this, but I have to take care of myself. And if were to go back, and I happened to slip on the ice, then I would just end up back to square one again. So I'm going to hold off until after Christmas. Unfortunately, that means that I lose my team. Sigh. My heart is broken.<br />
<br />
So... anyway... I can't end on a low note, because that would suck.<br />
<br />
<b>YAY DRESS! YAY INTERVIEW!!</b><br />
<br />
Oh and the kitties are no longer fighting! All is well again, they are even cleaning each other. It's so cute.<br />
<br />
Stay tuned for: Stop-motion cat photography! (I'm serious)<br />
<br />

La la la Wedding!<div style="text-align: justify;">I was talking about my blog to LN last night, about the content and what I should post about next. LN has a blog too, and he was talking about how he agonizes about the posts and that he had been working on a particular post for two days and blah blah blah.</div><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">LN's blog is his rants - basically. He rants about politics and science and religion and whatever. To be honest, I've never read the thing. I mean, he blogs so that he doesn't have to <strike>annoy</strike> <strike>bother</strike> <strike>bore</strike>... "captivate" me with his ranting; if I were to read it, it would defeat the purpose... really.</div><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">So while his blog is of a more serious nature, mine is more...</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">♪ la la la kitties ♫ la la la wedding ♪</div><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">Not that weddings and kitties aren't serious! </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">In fact right now, the kitties are very serious. They are fighting - hard. Hissing, snarling, and attacking each other. I currently have a kitty quarantine set up in the computer room. They have alternating sentences. Currently Fatty (aka. Max) is serving time, while Asshole (aka. Findus) has the rest of the house. Surprisingly, Findus didn't start this one. But it's Max that's holding a grudge. She's hissing at him as soon as she see him. The last time they fought like this (which was 7 years ago!) it lasted a week. Good lord I hope this is over by tomorrow. </div><br />

(aka: yay my beads came today!)<div style="text-align: justify;">I've decided to make all of the bouquets, boutonnieres and corsages for my wedding. So today the beads that I ordered came! I already had 150 clear crystal bicone beads so I ordered 150 white pearls and 100 deep purple pearls. I had planned on ordering 100 purple bicone crystals (to make it 500 beads) but decided to wait to see what all the pearls look like. </div><div style="text-align: justify;">Well, it seems I'm going to have to order more beads. 250 beads is not as much as you would think. </div><br />

<div style="text-align: justify;">But they are very pretty. And of course, one needs a glass (or two) of wine when stringing 250 beads on individual pieces of wire. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">This is what, I hope, they will sort-of look like when I'm done. </div><br />

WHAT IS THAT FIRE BALL IN THE SKY?!<div style="text-align: justify;">It's the sun! Holy crap where did that come from? </div><div style="text-align: justify;">Well finally, it's a beautiful day here. The last time I wore shorts was July 12th. </div><div style="text-align: justify;">Today, I am pleased to say, I am wearing Capri pants and spent pretty much the entire day at the garden! </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Oh our poor garden. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">This year we decided that we were going to plant veggies. So my wonderful LN made a 4' X 4' box and filled it with topsoil and compost, and sprinkled in a little bone meal. We then went to a local farm and bought a tomato plant, 3 lettuce plants, 2 broccoli plants and a rosemary plant. We also planted a few rows of carrots and some pole beans. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">We had originally planned on growing everything from seed, but because June's weather was crap we got a late start. In fact June and July have lovingly been referred to as Juvember and August, so far has been Fogust. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />

</div><div style="text-align: justify;">So we finally got the garden planted on July 2nd. </div><br />

We are now 6 weeks in and this is what we have: <br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDq4EuXQvO8ZaZgYeGfdqYv-MNkJCW5mE_ihu2KJoSC2yCbGZmBaaJtNt9eBNeQ8tc3mTHeIrM1WHbo6KiATvKHPv1f2E-fSQsfbgfRzssHduQugpfpnUUFImBRlGYVWHJrNlbiLIOD7am/s1600/Garden+6+weeks.jpg"><img alt="" border="0" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640443004384898706" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgDq4EuXQvO8ZaZgYeGfdqYv-MNkJCW5mE_ihu2KJoSC2yCbGZmBaaJtNt9eBNeQ8tc3mTHeIrM1WHbo6KiATvKHPv1f2E-fSQsfbgfRzssHduQugpfpnUUFImBRlGYVWHJrNlbiLIOD7am/s320/Garden+6+weeks.jpg" style="cursor: hand; cursor: pointer; display: block; height: 240px; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; width: 320px;" /></a> <br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">That pot in the front is a few cloves of garlic that started to sprout in our fridge. So we planted them! </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">We were, at first, really concerned about the tomatoes because the leaves were turning yellow. But they are doing just fine: </div><br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsFQnayuS9U7rvGl_D556qiyzdtJWJ4Otb_GxjwxDF3ckIj8QUAjvcMvO9bCm7XZQ_nyCdSuXux4lmG1u3rDJNu3bPr3LiwaBOPYvSoi3KY2sTyx3LnuExu88EK6iX3-yxwBYNco7qD8Oi/s1600/Tomatos+6+weeks.jpg"><img alt="" border="0" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5640443762882334066" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhsFQnayuS9U7rvGl_D556qiyzdtJWJ4Otb_GxjwxDF3ckIj8QUAjvcMvO9bCm7XZQ_nyCdSuXux4lmG1u3rDJNu3bPr3LiwaBOPYvSoi3KY2sTyx3LnuExu88EK6iX3-yxwBYNco7qD8Oi/s320/Tomatos+6+weeks.jpg" style="cursor: hand; cursor: pointer; display: block; height: 240px; margin: 0px auto 10px; text-align: center; width: 320px;" /></a> <br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">Our carrots however, have seems to have stalled a little, they are only about an inch, maybe an inch and half tall. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">But it's coming along. LN is on constant bug assassination detail as the broccoli leaves are full of holes. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The hope is that by the time October comes, we'll have a few meals that are straight from the garden! </div><br />
<br />

I guess I could have called this "how to make my boobs more groovy"... because isn't that really the point? </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">To my wonderful fiance LN - Please don't read this post - pretty please :) </div><br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">Anyway I've been dress shopping quite a bit, looking for the perfect wedding gown and I think I may have just confused myself more. I must have tried on 20 dresses or more! </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">I don't know what to do. I have two dresses that I love, one is SIGNIFICANTLY cheaper than the other. It should be a no brainer than, right? Just buy the cheaper one and shut up about it already. But as I pointed out above - I don't know if the cheaper dress make my boobs more groovy. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Plus I've been breaking the rules - I'm still looking at dresses online. And you know, a potato sack would look like a beautiful wedding dress on these models, so that's not helping me at all. The last time I looked in the mirror... well lets just say that those models don't have to worry about back fat. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">I do, however. And the cheaper dress highlights that quite nicely. "Hey LN, double your pleasure! I have front AND back boobs!" </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">But it is a beautiful dress. I can totally lose that little bit of weight before the wedding (I mean it IS over 14 months away), and it reminds me of a Cinderella dress! (<span style="font-size: 85%;">note: Cinderella was, is, and will always be my most loved fairytale princess story, movie, and children's book.</span>) </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Did I mention that I found this dress in Toronto and will need to order it by the middle of September so that my parents can bring it back with them at Christmas? Yeah that's kind of an important piece of information. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">The other dress - it's beautiful too, but I don't know if I like it $700 more than the Cinderella dress. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Anyway I'm going shopping again this weekend. I realized when I went though my pictures that one of the dresses I saw online that I wanted to try on, I already tried it on and it looked terrible. You just can't trust the pictures online. </div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">So it's back to the bridal stores (which we only have 3 of in this town). But at least it's lots of fun playing dress up! </div><br />

LN asked me on March 29, 2011. I came home from curling (I won my game!) and he had a new picture in one of our picture frames. It was of a Mario coin box, I just laughed at it and went upstairs. When I came back down, he said "what does the coin box say?". So I took the back off the frame and it said "would you like a glass of wine?". I believe I called him a nerd, but that yes, I would like a glass of wine. What proceeded from there was a trail of notes that led me to different spots around the house until the last spot contained a box.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">I opened the box and said "oh wow, that's really nice!"</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Now in my defense: when I opened the box, he didn't say anything. He made the ring, so it didn't look like an engagement ring and it wasn't in a ring box. So I didn't realize that he was proposing.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Anyway he then said "do you wanna get hitched?"</div><div style="text-align: justify;">My reaction was.... "Really? SURE!"</div><div style="text-align: justify;">It's funny because I had gone over the scenario in my head and I always thought that I would cry. But I didn't. Oh well, the proposal was certainly "us".</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">I can't wear the ring he made me because it's too fragile (and too big). So we went out and bought one.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Here is the ring LN made me, it has two heart shaped amethysts in it:</div><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXk-gSU2Tgh_A3m77bq2uv3RrSQNteLRTa5L88TYsEECyooqOxGmkW7L_1Inu9vdQGKg2r4YFul36xmGO-TF64NLGV68oCpKYluNceFGJFoLQsBoVYL_PQeSJEwYU9w7lRjWeaD2XucLs/s1600/Made+ring.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="261" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgXk-gSU2Tgh_A3m77bq2uv3RrSQNteLRTa5L88TYsEECyooqOxGmkW7L_1Inu9vdQGKg2r4YFul36xmGO-TF64NLGV68oCpKYluNceFGJFoLQsBoVYL_PQeSJEwYU9w7lRjWeaD2XucLs/s320/Made+ring.jpg" width="320" /></a></div><br />

It a 9mm cushion cut Amethyst, with 5 diamonds on each side, in white gold. It's so sparkly! I freakin' LOVE it! <br />
<br />
<span style="font-size: x-small;">*note: Amethyst is not my birthstone, I just really like it. </span>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7752330064753234619.post-26253368633831148552011-08-07T13:16:00.001-02:302011-08-07T14:01:26.826-02:30Danger!I was going through my camera last night and taking the photos off (about 500 of them! eep!). I came across a great photo from my trip to Toronto.<br />
This was just outside Union Station:<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiTUAn__vlAV8e252Ng-1wvCRwUm-vNtomBiX5VHVEAQvtY2qxtSXYLBpXxgK-rymxeoK3Xv286JawkC9zJUaQeqSPM09rbAZHeVEorLu8jWPxpHOFk346JR_tbk49spjAVTXr3xYTzx8/s1600/Danger%2521.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="280" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiiTUAn__vlAV8e252Ng-1wvCRwUm-vNtomBiX5VHVEAQvtY2qxtSXYLBpXxgK-rymxeoK3Xv286JawkC9zJUaQeqSPM09rbAZHeVEorLu8jWPxpHOFk346JR_tbk49spjAVTXr3xYTzx8/s400/Danger%2521.jpg" width="400" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"></div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7752330064753234619.post-71875356569263598812011-08-06T15:34:00.002-02:302011-08-17T23:38:14.730-02:30Attempt #2<div style="text-align: justify;">The other day (Tuesday I think it was), I went to the local cupcake store because I had a hankering for a cupcake. Delicious, moist, icing covered, cupcakey goodness!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">They were out.</div><div style="text-align: justify;">(well they had carrot cupcakes with cream cheese icing - I can't eat cream cheese, and who wants a carrot cupcake anyway?!)</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">I went to the grocery store and picked up a coffee cake - cinnamon with caramel on top. Yum!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">So instead of eating one single cupcake - I ate 1/3 of a coffee cake... sigh.</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Anyway I'm heading out to said cupcake store again. It's a pretty crappy day out so I'm hoping that they will have something other than carrot. Wish me luck!</div><div style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Update:</div><div style="text-align: justify;">Yummy! </div><br />

My fiancé (hereby know as LN = Lovable Nerd) has been telling me for a while now that I should start a blog. So this is my blog. </div><div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">So what's interesting about me? Well, I'm getting married in Oct 2012. I've been a wedding FREAK for a long long long time, and now I'm actually planning my own! To say I'm excited would be an understatement.</div><div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">I love cats. I have two kitties, aka snuggerwugs, or as LN calls them: Asshole and Fatty. He secretly loves them. </div><div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">I am a DIY fanatic! I love to make crafts and I'm doing a lot of the wedding stuff myself. </div><div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">I love curling. No, not my hair. The winter sport where you throw rocks down a sheet of ice and try to score points. Yup freakin' LOVE IT! I've been playing for most of my life and I'm now also the VP of the curling club. During the Brier, the Scotties, the worlds, the Olympics, I like to scream at the TV. For some reason I think it helps. LN retreats to the computer room during these times - understandably. </div><div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">I like to take pictures of mushrooms and graveyards (Oh! mushrooms IN graveyards, OR the less common: mushroom graveyard...!). I also take a lot of pictures of my kitties - LN calls it "stop motion cat photography". He is correct. </div><div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;"><br />
</div><div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">So I hope you like reading my blog. I will try to post on a regular basis. Seriously - I'll totally try! Success guaranteed! *Guarantee is not a guarantee*</div>Unknownnoreply@blogger.com2
